I’m excited to launch Becoming Unhindered, the podcast that empowers young Christian women with hope and freedom to overcome life’s toughest challenges!
After years of listening to clients and helping them overcome hard things, I’ve found there’s quite a few topics that come up over and over.
The podcast is a space where we can discuss these topics so others can benefit —integrating faith and mental health in a way that’s both real and relatable.
Why This Podcast?
A podcast feels like the perfect space to offer hope, share practical advice, and encourage you as you face the challenges of life—whether it's trauma, stress, or anxiety.
It’s a casual, conversational way to dive into tough topics and explore how God designed our brains to heal.
This is Not Therapy
If you’re dealing with trauma or life’s hardest struggles, this podcast does NOT replace therapy. It’s simply meant to encourage and equip...and is not the same as counseling or a therapeutic relationship.
If you need a counselor, check out this blog for tips on finding one who’s a great fit for you!
What’s the Name About?
“Becoming” refers to the fact that none of us has arrived yet, all of us are growing, learning, and becoming the person God already sees us as.
“Unhindered” means set free from what keeps us from walking in our true God-given nature, so we can enjoy the abundant life of John 10:10 that Christ died for!
The name Becoming Unhindered reflects my heart for all of us: cultivating a life free from the things that hold us back.
What to Expect
Each episode will include:
- Mental Health Topic: We’ll dive into real-life struggles, like anxiety, stress, and forgiveness. Many of these topics have been suggested by my clients, as well as from conversations with teens and young adults at my church.
- Spiritual Perspective: A look at each topic through a biblical worldview lens and explore how these issues impact your spiritual health.
- Your Next Right Step: A practical, actionable step to take right away…because growth comes through action!
By the way, Episodes will be short (10-20 minutes), so you can listen during your commute or while getting ready.
And a new episode will be released each Tuesday.
